The Goodview City Council took a series of unanimous votes at its April 7, 2025 meeting. The council:
- Approved the meeting agenda (motion by Councilmember Cassandra Gilliam, seconded by Councilmember Charlie Andring). - Approved the consent agenda, which included March 17, 2025 minutes and March 2025 claims (motion by Councilmember Charlie Andring, seconded by Councilmember Sandra Ramirez). - Approved the Goodview Police Department’s request to appropriate unclaimed property for city benefit (motion by Councilmember Dick Ledebuhr, seconded by Councilmember Charlie Andring). - Approved a proclamation declaring April National Donate Life Month after a brief presentation from Andrea Rossin of LifeSource (motion by Councilmember Dick Ledebuhr, seconded by Councilmember Sandra Ramirez). - Approved a $10,000 increase to the Fire Department’s training budget to cover unforeseen training expenditures (motion by Councilmember Dick Ledebuhr, seconded by Councilmember Charlie Andring). - Authorized administration to obtain a professional commercial appraisal of the city-owned property that houses The Bar (motion by Councilmember Charlie Andring, seconded by Councilmember Cassandra Gilliam). - Adjourned the meeting at 6:30 p.m. (motion by Councilmember Dick Ledebuhr, seconded by Councilmember Charlie Andring).
