At its Jan. 5 meeting the Goodview City Council approved several routine items and project payments.
The council approved Task Order No. 5 between the City of Goodview and Bolton & Menk for the 2026 Street Improvements project; the minutes record the motion moved by Councilmember Charlie Andring and seconded by Councilmember Richard Ledebuhr, with an all‑aye vote. The minutes do not specify the dollar amount for Task Order No. 5.
Separately the council approved final payments under the Business Assistance and Façade Improvement programs: a $2,000 final payment to Rocco’s for a Business Assistance and Improvement project, and a $2,500 final payment to Remlinger Muscle Cars for a façade improvement project. Those motions were recorded as moved and seconded and carried by all members present.
The consent agenda — including minutes of the Dec. 15 and Dec. 29, 2025 meetings and the December 2025 claims — was approved by motion. Staff presented fund totals for the month: General Fund $162,976.07; Water Service Fund $41,606.87; Sewer Service Fund $24,588.45; grand total $229,171.39. Councilmember Cassandra Gilliam asked questions about two specific payments listed in the claims and staff provided answers, per the minutes.
