Recreation Director Dyana Martin said Seaside Landscaping, the town’s contractor for the prior four years, was the sole bidder and the board voted to award the 2026 turf-management contract for $23,480. The board approved the Parsons Field application for the annual Community Picnic on Sept. 13 and authorized All Sports Events/Tri-Maine’s Wallis Sands Half Marathon permit for May 3 (7:00–11:00 a.m.), which the police chief estimated would include about 450 participants and for which insurance and documentation were in order.
DPW Director Jason Rucker reported he inspected replacement utility pole PSNH number 30/15 at 237 Locke Road and recommended licensing the pole; the board approved the license petition. The meeting concluded with a motion by Chair Rob Wright to adjourn at 8:28 p.m.; that motion carried unanimously.
