Dylan (speaker 6) reported municipal services’ May totals, saying the department handled about "142.47 tons" of material for the month, including 26.44 tons of recycling and six roll-offs. He also noted the city sold an old bucket truck at auction for $5,000 and will begin planting downtown flower baskets.
Board members asked about monitoring how much an individual could bring to the cleanup. Staff said there is no formal per-household limit and that volunteers and staff will be on site to monitor materials and separate metals for recycling; construction and toxic materials will not be accepted.
