Lebanon County approves $224,000 support contract for new payroll system; commissioners debate printed pay stubs

"All of this together is a total of $224,000 to continue this support which we believe is needed," Danielle told the board. Commissioners approved the service agreement by voice vote.
During the discussion one commissioner raised concern that the implementation would stop county‑produced printed pay stubs after go‑live and urged an opt‑out or printed‑stub option so employees could continue to receive printed pay stubs without needing to print them at home. Staff and the controller's office replied that pay stubs will remain available in the vendor portal, can be printed by employees, and that the Controller's office can print copies on request; the commissioner’s motion to resume county‑produced printed pay stubs did not receive a second and therefore died on the floor.
Next steps: Intellius go‑live is scheduled for the coming Monday; staff will proceed with the contracted support period and administrators said they would pursue a separate procedural motion later if the board wants to adopt an opt‑out printed‑stub policy.
