Public works and water staff said the project was designed by RH2 and procured through the city’s standard solicitation process; Bogate Construction submitted the winning bid. Staff told council the work will be funded initially from the city’s water capital improvement program and is expected to be fully reimbursed by county grant funds.
Staff also clarified the station will be open to select users rather than the general public. After questions, council moved, the motion was seconded and passed by voice vote to authorize the contract and execution by the city manager.
