Council approves emergency repairs at water intake after generator and meters fail

The council approved a FY 2025–26 budget amendment (Resolution No. 2026‑45) to fund the immediate repairs and replacements so the plant can continue operations and remain in regulatory compliance.
Staff noted a full generator replacement would be substantially more expensive and not part of this short‑term action; the budget amendment was intended to keep operations stable and buy time for longer‑term planning.
