Physio‑Control’s Lifepak 35 option was priced lower after trade‑ins but staff recommended Zoll for standardization and equipment performance consistency.
Commissioners discussed funding sources and whether sales‑tax or building funds could be used; staff said the EMS equipment reserve (with an available balance large enough to cover the purchase) would be used. The motion to approve the Zoll purchase and proceed with grant application and trade‑ins carried by voice vote.
