County judge names Josie Contras acting Brown County auditor after Robinson resigns

The county judge announced to the Brown County Commissioners Court that Jennifer Robinson resigned as Brown County auditor effective May 29, 2026, and that he had signed an order appointing Josie Contras as acting county auditor until Aug. 1.
