Council approves multiple routine resolutions: assessments, election consolidation and manager contract amendment
Summary

El Paso de Robles City Council approved a set of routine but legally necessary measures during the June 2 meeting, including consent calendar items, assessment resolutions, election consolidation measures and a personnel contract amendment.

- Consolidated municipal election (Nov. 3, 2026): The council approved three roll-call resolutions to call and give notice of the consolidated election (three open seats: Council Districts 1 and 2 and the at-large mayor), request consolidation with the county, and set candidate-statement regulations for the election.
- City manager employment agreement amendment: City Attorney Elizabeth Hall presented an amendment requested after the city manager's annual evaluation. The amendment (as presented) extends the severance package to 12 months and adds a $7,500 retention bonus. The council authorized the first amendment by unanimous roll-call vote.
