Zionsville council approves easement vacation, moves one zoning petition to July

The Town of Zionsville Town Council on June 1 took several routine actions and scheduled follow-up for a pending zoning petition.
Consent agenda: The council approved the consent agenda with a motion to remove a highlighted passage on page 24 of the May 4, 2026 minutes. The mover identified themselves in the meeting as making the motion and Councilor Sampson seconded; the council approved the motion, 7-0.
Ordinance 2026-14 — easement vacation (Holiday Farms): Council considered the ordinance on final reading and adopted it. Councilor Norris provided the first for the motion and Vice President Burke seconded; the motion passed 7-0.
Zoning petition 2025-75-Z (Polte Smith Mansouri Bradbury, Ordinance 2026-12): At the request of council leadership, the council voted to continue consideration of this zoning amendment to the July 6, 2026 Town Council meeting. Vice President Burke recorded the second; the motion to continue passed 7-0.
Adjournment: The council adjourned; the next regular meeting is scheduled for Monday, June 15, 2026, at 7:30 a.m. in Zionsville Town Hall Council Chambers. Final notice will be posted in compliance with the Indiana Open Door Law.
