Continued hearing set on liquor-license transfer to Coast and Main at 4420 William Penn Highway

MURRYSVILLE — The council on June 3 continued a public hearing on CNM Hospitality LLC’s application to transfer restaurant liquor license R-16586 to 4420 William Penn Highway, a location the applicant said was previously a restaurant and later used as office space.
Chad Schneider of the Caputo Law Office, representing the applicant, told the council the business will operate under the trade name Coast and Main Seafood and Chop House. “The proposed establishment would include approximately 100 seats, outdoor dining accommodations, and approximately 40 employees,” Schneider said, adding the owner, Michelle Ursop, was present for questions.
Schneider said initial operations will focus on dinner service and Sunday brunch, with lunch added later, and that the applicant’s prior license is in Allegheny County. Council clarified the license number as R-16586 and asked questions about operations and neighborhood impacts.
Chief Administrator Mike told the council a draft resolution is in the municipal Dropbox and that council “would anticipate council taking action via resolution on Tuesday, June 16.” No members of the public registered opposition during the continued hearing.
The hearing record will remain open to receive any additional written comments before council’s June 16 consideration; council members may vote on a formal resolution at that meeting.
