At a meeting this morning a staff member said the REEDS SPRING R‑IV board approved recommended salary increases that raise the base pay from $43,500 to $45,000, a $1,500 increase.
The staff member said contracts implementing the change will be distributed by email through the Frontline system and asked employees to return them as soon as possible so the district can process the increases. “We are really grateful that the board approved these great salaries,” the staff member said.
The staff member provided the percentage details: the raise represents a 3.448% increase to the base pay and an overall 3.936% increase to non‑scheduled pay. The district said these increases include steps and other scheduled adjustments.
The decision was presented as board action during the meeting; no vote tally or mover/second was given in the transcript. The staff member said the district will begin processing returned contracts immediately and that staff should monitor their email for Frontline notifications.
The staff member closed by thanking the board and wishing staff a good summer; the district said the changes will appear in updated salary records once paperwork is complete.
