Mitchell Field boat launch near completion; board delays grand opening until signage and final as-builts are complete

Staff recommended a pilot one‑way loop using Lower Meadow Road to the town launch and returning via Community Drive; they also recommended giving Mary Meeting Shellfish advance notice if the gate opens to allow that business to adjust operations. The board approved trying a limited pilot and said the gate could be reopened or closed later if problems arise.

The board also noted that the Potts Point town dock is nearing completion and may be ready in another week or two; small ribbon‑cutting events were suggested once final work and signage are complete.
