"I don't believe that a public school district should be involved in a bull fight," Duncan said, and pointed to his copy of a facilities‑use agreement and the times the Artisia event had access to Ross facilities.
District staff thanked him for his remarks and indicated the board’s public‑comment time limits had been reached; staff did not take further action during the meeting. Trustees requested staff follow up with him for any additional documentation he wished to provide.
Other public commenters raised different topics: Richard Lee asked about school program representation and the district followed up to collect contact information to connect him with staff.
