De Pere License Committee approves minutes and multiple liquor licenses

The De Pere License Committee on June 2 approved the minutes of its May 19 meeting and voted to grant multiple fermented malt beverage and intoxicating liquor licenses.

Chair called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. and asked Clerk Carrie to take roll; Alderperson Gents and Alderperson Pierock were recorded present and Alderperson Phil was excused. The chair opened the public comment period, citing Section 6-3F of the DPMC, and said no one was in the room or online to comment.

Under new business the committee first moved to approve the May 19 minutes. "I make a motion to approve," the chair said; another member seconded and the motion carried after a voice vote of those present. The committee then considered license applications across several categories. The chair moved to approve one Class A fermented malt beverage applicant and to approve eight Class A intoxicating liquor applicants (numbered one through eight on the agenda); Alderperson Pierock seconded both motions and each carried on a voice vote. The committee also approved two Class B fermented malt beverage/Class C wine applicants and a set of Class B fermented malt beverage/Class B intoxicating liquor applicants listed one through ten on the agenda, again on motions moved by the chair and seconded by Alderperson Pierock.

The chair's announcements closed with a call for future agenda items (none were offered) and a motion to adjourn, which passed by voice vote. The meeting adjourned following the votes.
