Committee approves temporary welcome banners at Clark Hinkle Field

The Ashwaubenon Site Plan Review Committee voted June 2 to approve up to five temporary welcome banners around Clark Hinkle Field for the Packers’ training camp.
Aaron, the staff presenter, told the committee the banners measure roughly 8 by 20 feet (about 160 square feet), which exceeds the 64-square-foot threshold requiring Site Plan Review. He said the design and placement are similar to previous years and that the only change is the sponsor name on the banners, switching from Bellin Health to UW Health. "Same thing, different year," Aaron said, and staff recommended approval with no additional conditions.
A committee member moved to approve the proposal; the motion received a second and carried on a voice vote. The committee recorded the vote as an affirmative voice vote with no recorded dissent.
The approval covers temporary, training-camp signage only; any future permanent signs or changes in size would require separate review under the village sign rules and Site Plan Review.
