Code enforcement officer Chaz reported animal‑control revenue is down due to seasonal licensing timing; the shelter admitted eight animals in the reporting period (six returned to owners, two sent to shelters) and staff handled 13 potential human‑health hazard complaints (nine completed, three still under investigation).
Members were told Communications Director Nicole Ripinski was attending training but had submitted a written report and asked members to contact her with follow‑up questions. The committee also noted there was no child support update and received no board‑appointed committee reports.
Chair asked that radio‑tower updates remain on future agendas; the next Public Safety Committee meeting was set for July 2 at 9:00 a.m.
