One council member described the city's share as a "smaller amount" tied to a water line that could "bring water into other parts of the city if we choose to extend that." The council moved and the resolution passed after a voice vote.
The agreement is intended to govern responsibilities among the parties for development and related infrastructure. Council did not amend the contractual terms on the floor; staff will follow up on implementation details, including water-line costs and any future extension decisions.
