Events and equipment: Council declared a 16-year-old animal transport truck surplus and authorized sale by auction; it approved a $30,000 contract with Starruck Drone Shows LLC for the Fourth of July drone show and an $80,000 amendment to Ark Pyro Technics for fireworks for the 250th celebration (staff said $15,000 of that increase covers an additional 'false finale' fireworks sequence).
Executive session outcomes: The council entered executive session to discuss multiple pending claims and labor negotiations with IAFF Local 2047 under Title 25 of the Oklahoma statutes; on return the council made unanimous motions 'to proceed as directed' for the executive items but gave no public details.
