The Zoning Board of Adjustment opened its live meeting but postponed all public hearings and took no actions after the board lacked a quorum.
Adam Hutchins introduced himself at the start of the broadcast, saying, “My name is Adam Hutchins,” and told attendees that because a quorum was not present “no actions can be taken by the board.” He noted the meeting included publicly noticed hearing items and invited members of the public to submit testimony on the printed agenda.
After asking twice whether anyone was signed up to speak or wished to testify, Hutchins said he saw no one. “Seeing no one, with that, the public hearing and all actions are postponed until the next regularly scheduled meeting of June 18th,” he said, and then adjourned the meeting.
No motions, votes, or other formal actions were taken. The board did not record any public commenters, and no agenda items were considered. The body’s next regular meeting was announced as June 18, when the hearings and any deferred actions are expected to be rescheduled.
The broadcast ended shortly after the adjournment announcement.
