The Hot Springs City Council opened a public hearing and approved a special-event alcoholic beverage license for the Rock'n Riverside concert, scheduled July 11, 2026, from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Centennial Park, 275 North Garden Street.
Brett Nachtigal, identified as president of the Hot Springs Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, told the council the license will let the Chamber sell alcohol for that single concert date as part of the summer series; Rotary will continue to provide food concessions at other concerts. Nachtigal said the event is a Chamber fundraising effort and answered operational questions from council, including why the Chamber is handling alcohol sales for that date and the concert’s time shift for setup.
Council members asked about server/card processes and whether wristbands would be used; Nachtigal said he had not completed the event form and could not confirm wristband plans. After the hearing, a motion to approve the license was made, seconded and approved by voice vote.
