Two Mile Run County Park announces events, campground to open April 1

Kara Kauffman, director of Two Mile Run County Park, updated the Venango County Commissioners on recreational programming and seasonal operations at the March 10 meeting.
Kauffman said the Pennsylvania Game Commission is partnering with the park to present Cabin Fever Days, free hands-on education workshops. She reported that the Feb. 14 Polar Plunge drew 72 participants. Kauffman also told the board the campground is scheduled to open April 1 and that an Easter Egg Cleanup event is planned for April 11.
