At their March 10 meeting, the Venango County Commissioners adopted Ordinance #02-2026 to impose a $100 fee on the sale of any property sold by estate tax sale or foreclosure.
Commissioner Kenneth J. Bryan moved to adopt the ordinance; Commissioner Timothy Heffernan seconded the motion. The measure passed with all commissioners voting aye. The ordinance, identified in the meeting as Ordinance #02-2026, was added to the county’s ordinances as recorded in the meeting minutes.
The ordinance received no recorded public debate during the meeting and was approved as presented. The board also approved Resolution #05-2026 on repository bid increases and other administrative contracts in the same session.
