Council approves Sunrise Meadows final plat after staff confirms conditions met

Uniontown City Council on May 11 approved Resolution 18-75, accepting the final plat for the Sunrise Meadows subdivision.
City staff Chris Bass reported that Sunrise Meadows LLC and JMP 2 Properties had satisfied the conditions set by the council when the preliminary plat was approved by ordinance in October 2024. "Each of the requirements the applicant has met," Bass said, and he noted streets, sidewalks, utilities and required frontage improvements had been installed and accepted by the city engineer. Performance and maintenance bonds for infrastructure have been posted and the final plat map includes the certificates required under Title 17.
Based on the staff findings, council moved, seconded and approved the final-plat resolution by voice vote.
What happens next: With final-plat approval, the city will record the final map and the developer may proceed with lot sales and permitted construction consistent with the conditions of approval.
