Board reviews quarterly administrative expense budget and payment register; no concerns reported

Anthony, the board clerk, presented the quarterly administrative expense budget through the second quarter ending March 31 and summarized the payment register for the same period.
He told trustees that several line items appearing close to budget were timing issues—actuarial and accounting invoices that arrive on different schedules—and that there were no other concerns in the expense review. On the payment register he noted larger disbursements related to drop payments and refunds of contributions.
Anthony also reported that at the April 2026 meeting of the firefighters pension board that body voted unanimously to pursue legal counsel Stuart Kaufman of Kaufman, Klausner, Jensen and Levinson; the attorney on the call acknowledged that report.
Before adjourning, Anthony reminded trustees to file their required Form 1 financial disclosures by the July 1 deadline and said the clerk’s office would send an email reminder and a link.
The board adjourned at 9:00 a.m.
