Committee warned of costs to make meeting materials ADA-compliant by April

She warned committee members that ensuring consultant deliverables meet accessibility standards could add costs to projects and asked members to be prepared for potential fee increases as vendors incorporate required document changes.
Krigs said the city expects compliance to be in place by April and that staff will share more specific cost estimates and guidance as they become available. Committee members responded that they understand the requirement and will wait for additional information on the scope and financial impact.
