Committee members discussed the city’s donation policy, appraisal requirements and possible costs; staff reported an offered discounted appraisal of $300 and an estimated installation cost under $1,000 (base and final plumbing/anchoring pending). The committee voted to start the process and authorized staff to include appraisal and installation costs in follow-up steps. Staff said the city’s administration or city manager could later refer the donation to the city commission per policy.
