The commission approved the lower bid and awarded the street snow removal contract to 3 Forks Services by unanimous vote (motion by Gjovig; second by Bervig).
For parking‑lot snow removal, a single bid from Joe's Digging — the incumbent contractor — proposed equipment hourly rates including two loaders at $175/hour, five trucks at $150/hour and three skid steers at $150/hour. Commissioners approved the Joe's Digging bid unanimously (motion by Gjovig; second by Siemieniewski).
City staff said both contractors have previously assisted the city; the awards allow operations staff to finalize winter service agreements and schedules.
