The Williston Board of City Commissioners on March 10 approved two new alcoholic beverage licenses for adjacent storefronts at 213 11th St W. Shawn Wenko, city administrator, said Busy Buns LLC applied for a Specialty Recreational Alcoholic Beverage License for suite B (the former Busted Knuckle Brewery); the Liquor and Licensing Committee recommended approval and the commission granted the license on a 4–0 vote.
Wenko next presented True North Crafted LLC’s application for a Beer and Wine on-sale Alcoholic Beverage License for suite A at the same address. That application likewise had committee approval and the commission approved the license 4–0.
Both matters were presented as public hearings (the president opened each hearing and asked for public comment three times before closing) and received no public opposition during the meeting. The licenses were approved as presented and will be administered through the city’s licensing process and required local inspections.
