Commission appoints members to Planning & Zoning Commission and Board of Appeals
Summary
Vice President Cymbaluk recommended Alex Johnson for a five-year seat on the Planning & Zoning Commission and the commission appointed him unanimously. The commission also appointed a five-member Board of Appeals and two alternates to three-year terms ending Aug. 30, 2027.
Vice President Tate Cymbaluk presented applicants for a vacancy on the Planning and Zoning Commission on Oct. 22 and the selection committee recommended Alex Johnson for a five-year term; the commission appointed Johnson by unanimous voice vote and he will begin at the Nov. 18 meeting.
The commission also appointed Rick Tofte (chair), Nick Lippert (vice chair), Gordon Weyrauch, John Haskins and Bill Glenn to the Board of Appeals and named Jeremy Jutila and Kayla Wilson as first and second alternates. All appointments are three-year terms expiring Aug. 30, 2027, and were approved unanimously.
The Board of Appeals will hear questions of building-code interpretation and enforcement as provided by the city’s ordinances.
