On March 18, 2026, the Town of Plymouth Board of Health voted unanimously to approve septic system variances for properties at 78 Lakeview Blvd. and 208 Manomet Point Road.
Mr. Grady of Grady Engineering presented the request for 78 Lakeview Blvd.; the board approved that variance on a motion by Amy Palmer, with Teri Reid recorded as the second and a vote of 3–0 in favor. Chris Sanderson of Merrill Engineers presented the separate variance for 208 Manomet Point Road; that motion was moved by Amy Palmer, seconded by Barry Potvin, and likewise approved 3–0.
Board members recorded in the minutes as voting yes were Amy Palmer, Barry Potvin and Chair Teri Reid. The minutes note that new appointee Kate Morini was welcomed but was not yet sworn in and therefore did not vote. The minutes do not list technical details of the variances (setbacks, leaching field design, or specific waivers requested).
The approvals were recorded in the meeting minutes as formal votes. No appeals, conditions, or follow-up reporting requirements are listed in the minutes for either variance.
The board’s next scheduled meeting is April 1, 2026, to be held virtually at 5:00 PM.
