Connoquenessing council approves minutes, finances, appointments and two resolutions

The Connoquenessing Borough Council approved a set of routine administrative items and adopted two resolutions at its May 5, 2026 meeting.
Council approved the April 7, 2026 meeting minutes following a motion by Kelly Barton and a second from David Smith. Lloyd Leslie moved and Kelly Barton seconded approval of the submitted March 2026 Treasurer's Report; that motion passed. Leslie moved and Barton seconded approval of the submitted bills; council approved payment. In procedural votes the council also appointed Norman Graham to a three‑year term on the Zoning Hearing Board after a motion by Lloyd Leslie and a second from Kelly Barton.
On resolutions, Kelly Barton moved and Ryan Curtin seconded adoption of Resolution 2026‑06 concerning disposition of borough records; the council approved the resolution. Ryan Curtin moved and David Smith seconded adoption of Resolution 2026‑07 authorizing action related to a GTRP grant; the council approved that resolution. The minutes record that motions passed but do not include recorded roll-call tallies.
Other administrative items included a report that the park committee will select a contractor this week to complete repairs tied to an insurance claim for park bathrooms. The meeting was adjourned at 8:08 p.m. following a motion by Kelly Barton and a second from Lloyd Leslie.
