County staff walked the board through the canvass packet — poll‑pad reports, precinct recap sheets and candidate returns — and read precinct totals aloud. The county recorded a total of 2,455 ballots cast countywide; staff noted one blank ballot and that a ballot was deposited in the wrong Northwest drop box on election night, which was annotated on the precinct recap notes. Officers also said Precinct 2 recorded fewer than 100 ballots and therefore was excluded from the random precinct draw used for the post‑election audit.
Officials read race‑level totals for each contest, including local races and a municipal charter amendment (Charter Amendment One: Yes 1,288; No 381). After reviewing totals, the board conducted the required audit draw: by statute one statewide contest must be included, so the board included the gubernatorial contest and drew an additional eligible local contest for the audit. The board also noted a gubernatorial runoff is scheduled for July 28.
The canvass packets were sealed and copies were to be delivered to the city and school district as appropriate; the county clerk will transmit the official canvass report to the state.
