Merrimack County approves new Dietetic Technician position and two FTE transfers at nursing home

The proposal created a full-time Dietetic Technician position (Labor Grade 6) to replace a full-time Dietary Shift Leader (Labor Grade 4) and requested transferring one full-time FTE from the Dietary Shift Leader position to the new Dietetic Technician position. The county estimated the annual fiscal impact of that change at $6,406. The request also transferred one full-time FTE from a Prep Cook position (Labor Grade 3) to a Cook position (Labor Grade 6) with an estimated annual fiscal impact of $9,298. Commissioner Lovlien moved to approve the job description and FTE transfers; Commissioner Shurtleff seconded and the motion carried, 3–0.
