At its May 20 meeting the Town of Greenburgh Planning Board approved a set of draft decisions and took votes on two land‑use matters.
For PB2513 (Cone, 0 Peterbot Road) the board classified the project as a SEQRA Type II action and approved the draft decisions for the steep slope permit, wetland/watercourse permit and the tree removal permit as distributed. Staff called attention to site‑specific conditions in the draft decision: adherence to New York State Department of Environmental Conservation requirements for working within freshwater wetland buffers, installation of silt fencing and straw bales per the town engineer’s stormwater permit, and confirmation that the applicant’s stormwater system be designed to handle a 100‑year storm event.
On a separate correspondence item, staff presented PB2606 (King, 96 Wyndham Street) — a minor wetland/watercourse permit application for a deck using six sono‑tubes about 32 feet from a small stream. Town Planner Britton said the Conservation Advisory Council gave a positive recommendation and that the applicant agreed to slatted decking and a permeable surface. The board voted to classify PB2606 as a SEQRA Type II action, waived referral to permit the town wetlands inspector to issue the decision, and authorized staff to proceed accordingly.
All motions on these items passed with affirmative votes; staff will finalize and circulate the decisions as directed by the board.
