The Dennis Finance Committee unanimously appointed Cheryl McMahon as chair and Bob Mazadre as vice chair at its June 8, 2026 meeting.
Committee convener Bob Mazadre nominated McMahon for chair; a second was recorded and the body approved the nomination by voice vote. Walter Hulse then nominated Mazadre as vice chair, a second was recorded and that motion also passed unanimously.
McMahon, who was recently reappointed to the finance committee and said she works full time at the Dennis Water District, responded to her appointment by thanking members: "Thank you so much." The committee chair and vice chair positions were the only roles filled at this meeting; liaison and other committee assignments will be set at a future meeting.
The reorganizational votes were completed quickly and without further discussion. The committee adjourned after addressing calendar and administrative items.
