The East Troy Plan Commission approved a site plan and architectural review for a new wood fence that will enclose additional land purchased by the Climbing Tree Childcare and Family Education Center.
Planner Orin said applicant Colleen Anderson could not attend but provided updated contractor bid figures showing 214 linear feet of 6-foot cedar shadowbox fence and 183 linear feet of 4-foot picket fence. Gates will be lockable to control access for staff and to secure the play area. The commission noted the work will require a fence permit from the building inspector and that the applicant’s contractor must call Diggers Hotline to avoid underground utilities.
A motion to approve the site plan subject to conditions 1–11 carried on a voice vote. The applicant will secure the required building permit and comply with the plan-commission conditions before construction.
