Audubon County approves Auditor staff pay bump, cancels old warrants and OKs short liquor license

By unanimous vote the board adopted Resolution 2024‑28, raising wages for regular Auditor Office staff by 3.2% effective July 1, 2024, to align with the Compensation Board recommendation; the resolution covers the regular as‑needed clerk position. The board also approved Resolution 2024‑27 to cancel four outstanding warrants issued more than one year ago under Iowa Code §331.554(7), and noted the five‑year right for a claimant to file for payment if proper proof is provided.
