The Spokane Valley City Council adopted the special-meeting agenda at the start of its June 2, 2026 session. A motion to approve the agenda was made and the council approved it by unanimous voice vote.
Later in the meeting Councilmember Merkel moved to modify the agenda to remove an executive‑session item; the council determined staff was not ready to proceed and agreed not to take action on that executive‑session item (no formal change to the agenda was recorded).
The council then moved to adjourn; the motion was seconded and carried by unanimous voice vote.
No ordinances, resolutions or budget actions were adopted during this session.
