The Central Lyon County Vector District Board convened on May 12, 2026 in Stagecoach and moved through regular business, approving the meeting agenda, ratifying minutes from April 14, and approving bills totaling $21,895.00.
Board member Devon Ardesco moved to adopt the agenda as presented; Terry Anderson seconded and the motion passed 3-0. The board then reviewed and approved the April 14 minutes as recorded in its packet; those minutes note Mary Smith as the member who moved approval at that prior meeting, though Mary Smith was recorded as excused from the May 12 session.
Tyler Minor reviewed bills for May totaling $21,895.00. Devon Ardesco moved to approve payment of the bills as presented; Terry Anderson seconded, and the motion passed with a 3-0 vote.
Chair Tyler Minor announced there will be one vacancy on the board once Jerry Culwell is removed and directed interested applicants to contact the Lyon County clerk at countyclerks@lyon-county.org or 775-463-6531 for an application. Minor also reminded board members that completing required training is necessary to remain on the board.
There were no public comments and no correspondence for the record. Minor adjourned the meeting at 5:28 p.m.
