The council moved to pay the bill, obtain three vendor quotes next year, and explore certification of city employees for spraying; Mr. Young moved, Mr. Ray seconded and the vote was unanimous among members present.
Council discussed whether to authorize another larvicide application before the first hard frost. Mr. McMillian asked whether to follow Offutt’s recommendation for another application, while Mr. Young preferred leaving conditions as they were. The minutes record that the city will send a letter with the payment instructing that no further applications be completed without authorization.
