Council members praised her service and said finding a replacement will be a priority; they unanimously accepted her resignation and authorized posting the combined administrator/clerk job description included in the meeting packet.
Council discussion confirmed the town will advertise the joint administrator/clerk position, use the budgeted salary range as guidance, and consider salary negotiations for the right candidate. The council emphasized continuity: staff will support the transition and committee and council members will help vet applicants.
Dwey said she intends to remain available as needed; council members said they would likely consult her during the transition.
