The City of Grafton held a public hearing Aug. 21 on proposed facilities revenue bonds under the Municipal Industrial Development Act of 1955 for the Grafton Blue Line Club project. No members of the public appeared in opposition.
Dave Hills, representing the Grafton Blueline Club, told the council the project has a partial contract with Pastoreks for $3.2 million and that other arena-floor contracts are still pending. He said he expects total project costs to be "close to $7.5 million" and that any costs not covered by bond proceeds will be paid by the Blue Line Club through its own funds and fundraising. Hills said Pastoreks’ portion of work is expected to be substantially complete by late July 2026, with final completion in August or September 2026.
Council did not take action on the bond at the special meeting; Mayor Chris West closed the hearing after Hills’ remarks. The hearing was informational and put the proposed financing on the public record under the Municipal Industrial Development Act of 1955.
