Economic injury disaster loans (for working capital) have a later filing deadline (Jan. 7, 2027, as stated in the presentation). "We are here just to offer our support... the deadline for the filing date is June 10, 2026 and we are offering business loans up to $2 million," Pittz said.
In response to questions, Pittz confirmed the dates that qualify for the physical-damage deadline (Dec. 5–19) and clarified that physical damage such as a tree falling through a building has the June 10 deadline for application, while economic-injury claims have the later deadline. She left contact information and business cards for those seeking assistance and said staff will provide further guidance for applicants.
