Williston awards partial underground street-light wiring contract to stay within budget

Public Works Director Kenny Bergstrom reported three bids with a low overall bid of $394,955 from On Point Electrical Services. Because the city’s approved budget for the project is $225,000, staff recommended awarding only Areas 1 and 5 to the low bidder at a total of $163,008. The motion to award Areas 1 and 5 to On Point carried unanimously.
