The commission awarded the 2025 Underground Wire Replacement Project for selected work areas to On Point Electrical Services LLC after staff recommended limiting the scope to stay within the city’s budget.
Public Works Director Kenny Bergstrom reported three bids with a low overall bid of $394,955 from On Point Electrical Services. Because the city’s approved budget for the project is $225,000, staff recommended awarding only Areas 1 and 5 to the low bidder at a total of $163,008. The motion to award Areas 1 and 5 to On Point carried unanimously.
