The packet covered numerous changes: notification/posting practice tied to a recent statutory change; federal‑fund thresholds and procurement wording; clarification on communicable‑disease exclusion language; separate staff and student AI‑use policies (staff policy proposed to favor a recommended tool and additional approvals); updates to compulsory attendance that explicitly add mental‑health as an excused reason; credit‑transfer and grade‑placement discretion; and a new parent opt‑in process to receive library‑checkout notifications.

Staff recommended that trustees identify specific policies they wish to discuss further (for example AI policy) and said unchanged items could be approved on a consent motion at a future meeting.
