Minutes and routine approvals The court approved minutes for May 26 and a June 2 special meeting, and approved invoices and requested budget transfers by voice vote.
Appointments The court approved a request from Crawford & Baxter (attorney) to appoint Harry Krause to the Gen Fire Protection District to fill a three-year term vacated by Austin Dunn (term through 01/01/2029; resignation effective 02/19/2026). The court moved, seconded and approved the appointment by voice vote.
Resolutions and contracts The court read and adopted a resolution authorizing the judge executive to enter a nonexclusive contract with Matthew Dunaway for certified building-code inspector services; a motion to adopt the resolution was approved by voice vote.
Other actions The court moved to table further action on asphalt bids to allow staff more time to review the two submitted bids. The court also conducted a second reading and moved to adopt uniform statewide building-code language for county jurisdiction (text on file at the clerk's office). The court recorded a motion to overrule petitions seeking removal of two ethics-commission members after the county attorney summarized the petitions.
