Town seeks workaround after prior repairs may block Rockfield playground replacement grant

Commissioners asked staff to follow up with county and state contacts and consider using political advocates or other channels to explain the town’s circumstances and attempt to secure replacement funding. Staff also discussed possibilities for doing in-house removal or partial work to reduce costs if grant funding cannot be obtained.
