Lisbon commission continues hearing on special permit for honeybee operations after Town Hall reaches capacity

Chairman Robert Adams said the Town Hall had reached legal capacity and announced the commission would continue the public hearing to Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. at the Newent Meeting House, 12 South Burnham Highway. Chuck Mandel, the applicant's representative, consented on behalf of Scott and Tracy Nye to a 35-day extension to allow the continuance.
The record notes that no testimony was taken from the applicant or members of the public in the June 2 session. The public hearing was closed at 6:44 p.m. and will reconvene on the continued date for additional public comment and deliberation.
